Getting Here:
Buri is situated in Puerto Galera, Mindoro Oriental, one of the quickest, most accessible destination spots in the Philippines from Manila. Different transfer options mau be chosen according to your preference.
BURI EXCLUSIVE PRIVATE TRANSFER
The fastest and most convenient way to get to Buri is by using our exclusive private transfers. We will pick you up from the airport, hotel or residence at your own specified time and take you to Lea Beach, batangas, where the Buri boat awaits to take you to Buri Beach Resort.
SIKAT TRANSFER
You may opt to take a tourist bus and ferry along with other people who are also going to Puerto Galera. The Sikat is a tourist bus with a direct ferry connection from the town of Puerto Galera to/from Manila
• Pick-up point at City State tower Hotel, Mabini St. Cor. Padre Faura, Malate, Manila.
• Tourist bus boarding time at 7:45 am and the bus departs at 8:00 am (Manila-Batangas).
• Ferry boarding time depending on time of arrival at the Batangas Port 10:30 am or 11:30 am.
• Estimated arrival time in Puerto Galera at 11:30 am or 12:30 pm.
• Check-in time 1:00 pm.
• Check-out 8:30 am due to early departure of Sikat-operated ferry transfer to Batangas.
For those who may wish to get to Batangas Port on their own and ride the numerous ferries leaving the Port destined for Puerto Galera, here is a simple guide to get to the Batangas Port.
1. Enter the South Superhighway and make a right turn on the last exit towards Batangas City.
2. Drive for a few kilometers and you will see on the right side the entrance to the new Star Toll Way.. Enter this and take the last exit to Batangas City, you will have to make a left turn crossing the opposite lane.
3. Once you are out of the Toll Way make a right towards Batangas City.
4. Now you will be passing San Fernando army/air base on your right side, go straight.
5. Stay on the major road.
6. After the winding roads there will be a populated area and this is now Balagtas, to your right side there is Rey Marketing, turn right here.
7. Go straight all the way until the intersection right in front of Alps Bus Lines terminal and Globe Telecom.
8. Go straight in towards the new Batangas Port diversion road, you will pass Globe Telecom to your left.
9. When you hit the end of the road which is the Batangas Port truck and cargo gate make a left and go straight till you see to your right gate 1.
10. Enter gate # 1 for departures to Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro.
An alternative to getting to Puerto Galera is to take a private traditional Banca for hire at Leah Beach. This is the place that most resorts in Puerto Galera use for their private pick-up.
DIRECTION TO LEAH BEACH
• Turn at the last exit on the South Superhighway, and go straight until you will see a large green sign on your right pointing to the new road to Batangas. (the Star Toll Way).
• This highway ends just past Lipa City, putting you back onto the old road a few km south of Lipa, and just before San Fernando army/air force base on the right side.
• Approaching Batangas City , make a left turn at the Lions Monument heading Lobo.
• Take the next left, approximately 150 meters from Lions Monument , following the signs to Lobo and Shell Refinery.
• Follow the main concrete road, making a right at the sign to Pacific Flour Mills at the Y junction on the way.
Pass the Shell Refinery, and take a right immediately at the end of the Flour Mill fence on a sloping dirt road and you are there.
